1. Overview
The YBDF2, YDF2, and their derived series of three-phase asynchronous motors are special-purpose motors matched with valve electric actuators.
The explosion-proof performance of the YBDF2 motor assembled with the valve electric actuator and the explosion-proof performance of its derived series comply with the provisions of GB 3836.1-2010 Explosive Atmospheres - Part 1: General Requirements for Equipment and GB 3836.2-2010 Explosive Atmospheres - Part 2: Equipment Protected by Flameproof Enclosures "d", and also conform to the provisions of IEC 79-1. These motors are manufactured as flameproof type with the explosion-proof mark ExdIIBT4Gb, which are suitable for places in factories where explosive mixtures are formed by flammable gases or vapors and air, belonging to Group II (Category A and B) and Temperature Class T1~T4. (According to order requirements, the explosion-proof mark can also be made as ExdIMb, which is suitable for underground coal mine places containing explosive mixtures of methane or coal dust.)

The YDF2 and its derived series motors are suitable for non-explosive hazardous places.
Meaning of the explosion-proof mark for flameproof motors:
For the model of the derived series motors, lowercase letters or numbers are added before or after the letters of the basic series model to indicate the derivation sequence number.
2. Operating Conditions
2.1 Ambient air temperature: -20~+40℃;
2.2 Altitude: Not exceeding 1000m;
2.3 Rated voltage: 380V;
2.4 Rated frequency: 50Hz;
2.5 Synchronous speed: 1500 rpm (Note: Corrected "r/rain" to the standard unit "rpm" (revolutions per minute));
2.6 The motor rating is a short-time rating based on short-time duty (S2), with a time limit of 10 minutes and full-voltage direct starting;
2.7 The motor adopts Class F insulation. When the ambient air temperature and altitude comply with the provisions of Clauses 2.1 and 2.2, the temperature rise limit (resistance method) of the stator winding shall not exceed 90K.
3. Structural Brief
3.1 After the motor is assembled with the valve electric actuator, the housing protection class is IP55, and it can also be manufactured into other protection classes;
3.2 Motor housing material: Non-explosion-proof type is made of gray cast iron not lower than HT150; Flameproof Type II is made of gray cast iron not lower than HT200; Flameproof Type I is made of gray cast iron not lower than HT250. The frame surface has no cooling fins and is smooth, which can reduce the accumulation of rainwater, dust, and corrosive media on the motor surface, and is beneficial to the corrosion prevention, heat dissipation, and cleaning of the motor;
3.3 The motor structure and mounting type are IMB5: horizontal mounting with a frame without feet and end covers with flanges. Other structures and mounting types can also be derived;
3.4 The motor has one cylindrical shaft extension, which is driven by a spur gear, and a double-shaft extension structure can also be derived;
3.5 The motor stator winding uses high-strength polyester enameled round copper wires, the rotor is a cast aluminum squirrel-cage rotor, and the cooling method is IC0041;
3.6 The lead wires of the motor stator winding are led out through the flange end face, and leading out from other parts or with a terminal box can also be derived;
3.7 The motor is equipped with a skeleton oil seal at the shaft penetration to prevent the lubricating oil in the reduction gearbox from seeping into the motor interior.
