1. Product Overview
The three-phase asynchronous motor for the YBDF2 series and its derivative series of valve electric actuators is a dedicated motor matched with valve electric actuators.
After the YBDF2 motor is assembled with the valve electric actuator, its explosion-proof performance—along with that of its derivative series—complies with the provisions of GB3836.1-2010 "Explosive Atmospheres - Part 1: General Requirements for Equipment" and GB3836.2-2010 "Explosive Atmospheres - Part 2: Equipment Protected by Flameproof Enclosures 'd'", and also meets the requirements of IEC 79-1. It is manufactured as a flameproof type with the explosion-proof marking ExdIIBT4Gb, and is suitable for factory areas (Category II, Grades A and B) where explosive mixtures are formed by flammable gases or vapors mixed with air, with temperature classes ranging from T1 to T4. (According to order requirements, the explosion-proof marking can also be made as ExdIMb, which is applicable to underground coal mine areas containing explosive mixtures of methane or coal dust.)
2. Operating Conditions
2.1 Ambient air temperature: -20~+40℃;
2.2 Altitude: not exceeding 1000m;
2.3 Rated voltage: 380V;
2.4 Rated frequency: 50Hz;
2.5 Synchronous speed: 1500r/min (Note: "1500r/rain" in the original text is corrected to the standard unit "1500r/min" for "revolutions per minute");
2.6 The motor rating is a short-time rating based on the short-time duty cycle (S2), with a duration of 10 minutes and direct starting at full voltage;
2.7 The motor adopts Class F insulation. When the ambient air temperature and altitude comply with the provisions of Clauses 2.1 and 2.2, the temperature rise limit (measured by the resistance method) of the stator winding shall not exceed 90K.
3. Structural Description
3.1 After the motor is assembled with the valve electric actuator, the enclosure protection rating is IP55; other protection ratings can also be manufactured upon request;
3.2 Motor enclosure material:
Non-explosion-proof type: Made of gray cast iron with a grade not lower than HT150;
Flameproof Type II: Made of gray cast iron with a grade not lower than HT200;
Flameproof Type I: Made of gray cast iron with a grade not lower than HT250.
The base surface has no cooling fins and is smooth, which can reduce the accumulation of rainwater, dust, and corrosive media on the motor surface, and is conducive to the motor's corrosion resistance, heat dissipation, and cleaning;
3.3 The motor’s structure and installation type are IMB5 (horizontal installation, base without feet, end cover with flange). Other structures and installation types can also be derived;
3.4 The motor is equipped with one cylindrical shaft extension, driven by a spur gear; a double-shaft extension structure can also be derived;
3.5 The motor’s stator winding uses high-strength polyester enameled round copper wires, the rotor is an aluminum-cast squirrel-cage rotor, and the cooling method is IC0041;
3.6 The lead wires of the motor’s stator winding are led out through the end face of the flange; lead-out from other parts or with a terminal box can also be derived;
3.7 The motor is equipped with a skeleton oil seal at the shaft penetration to prevent the lubricating oil in the gearbox from seeping into the motor interior.
