1. Product Overview
The YFB3 Series Dust-Explosion-Proof Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors are totally enclosed, self-fan-cooled, squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motors. They feature small size, light weight, reliable operation, and an attractive appearance, along with advantages such as high efficiency, low noise, low vibration, large temperature rise margin, excellent performance, a reasonable explosion-proof structure, and safe and reliable use.

2. Applications
Dust-explosion-proof motors are mainly used in places with combustible dust, including the pharmaceutical industry, textile industry (e.g., cotton fibers, linen fibers, chemical fibers, etc.), metallurgical industry (e.g., magnesium powder, aluminum powder, carbon powder, etc.), grain processing industry (e.g., wheat, corn, grains, etc.), feed processing industry (e.g., blood meal, fish meal), chemical fertilizer industry, tobacco industry, papermaking industry, synthetic materials industry (e.g., plastics, dyes), and building materials industry.

4.22 Main Terminal Box
The main terminal box is located on the top of the motor (viewed from the motor shaft extension end) with a right-side wire outlet, and it can be rotated by 90 degrees. The wire outlet can be adjusted in four directions. However, when the terminal box outlet faces backward (toward the non-shaft extension end), due to the influence of the lifting ring, it is necessary to lift the motor into place at the installation site, remove the lifting ring, open the terminal box cover, loosen the connecting bolts between the terminal box and the frame, and adjust the terminal box outlet to face backward.
The standard wire inlet configuration for the terminal box is a bell-mouth inlet; it can also be made into a threaded pipe wiring inlet or an explosion-proof gland inlet according to user requirements (optional).
4.23 Auxiliary Terminal Box (Optional)
The auxiliary terminal box refers to the terminal box for temperature measurement and heating tape.
4.24 Temperature Measurement and Heating Devices (Optional)
For frame sizes 160~225, a heating tape or PTC temperature measurement device can be installed according to user needs (one of the two options is available). For frame sizes 250-355, a stator bearing temperature measurement device and a heating tape can be installed according to user requirements (optional).
