1. Product Overview
The YBF3 series motors are special-purpose motors designed to match axial flow ventilation fans.
The explosion-proof performance of the YBF3 series motors complies with the provisions of GB3836.1-2010 Explosive Atmospheres - Part 1: General Requirements for Equipment and GB3836.2-2010 Explosive Atmospheres - Part 2: Equipment Protected by Flameproof Enclosures "d", as well as the requirements of IEC 60079-1. These motors are manufactured as flameproof type, with explosion-proof marks: ExdⅠMb and ExdⅡBT4Gb.
ExdⅠMb is suitable for explosive gas atmospheres containing methane or coal dust.
ExdⅡBT4Gb is suitable for explosive gas atmospheres of Group ⅡA, ⅡB and Temperature Class T1, T2, T3, T4.

2. Operating Conditions
2.1 Ambient air temperature: -20~+40℃
2.2 Altitude: Not exceeding 1000m
2.3 Rated frequency: 50Hz
2.4 Rated voltage: 380V, 660V, 380/660V
2.5 Rating: Continuous rating based on continuous duty (S1).
2.6 The motor adopts Class F insulation. When the ambient air temperature and altitude meet the requirements specified in Clauses 2.1 and 2.2, the temperature rise limit (measured by the resistance method) of the stator winding shall not exceed 80K.
3. Structural Description
3.1 The protection class of the motor’s main housing is IP55, and that of the terminal box is also IP55.
3.2 Material of the motor housing:
For Class Ⅰ motors: Gray cast iron with a grade not lower than HT250.
For other classes: Gray cast iron with a grade not lower than HT200.
3.3 Structural and mounting types of the motor: IMB30, IMB5, IM9002, IM9001 (in line with IEC motor mounting code standards).
3.4 The motor is equipped with one or two cylindrical shaft extensions.
3.5 Terminal box of YBF3 motors:
For IMB30 and IMB5 types: Located on the end cover of the non-shaft extension end.
For IM9002 and IM9001 types: Fixed on the outer surface of the fan cylinder via conduit connection; the wire inlet can be rotated by 90°, 180°, or 270° as required.
The terminal box is provided with 3 or 6 terminals; the wire inlet adopts a rubber-sheathed cable structure.
A grounding screw is installed inside the terminal box for internal grounding.
Note: YF series motors have no terminal box; the stator leads are drawn out through an elbow at the non-shaft extension end.
3.6 The stator winding of the motor uses high-strength polyester enameled round copper wire; the rotor is a cast aluminum squirrel-cage rotor; the cooling method is IC0041 or IC0141 (note: "1C" is corrected to "IC" to conform to international cooling method codes).
3.7 The motor adopts low-noise rolling bearings and Great Wall low-noise grease. A wave washer is installed in the bearing chamber of the end cover at the shaft extension end, which presses against the bearing with moderate pressure, effectively suppressing vibration and noise during the motor’s operation.
4. Ordering Instructions
When placing an order, please specify the motor’s model, power, synchronous speed, voltage, frequency, explosion-proof mark, structure, and mounting type.
For special requirements from users, customized orders can be accepted after negotiation via in-person visits or correspondence.
