On September 16, 2025, Professor Chen Xi's team from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) visited our company to hold an on-site research and exchange meeting on university-enterprise cooperation.

Director Li Hua of the Zhenping People's Congress was invited to attend the meeting. The university research team consisted of Professor Chen Xi, Professor Xiao Li, and Chief Engineer Fan Liming from the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation at HUST, as well as Dr. Liang Shuangjun from the School of Computer Science at Tomsk State University. The general manager of our company and leaders of relevant departments participated in the entire process. Both parties conducted in-depth exchanges around core directions such as technological research, service upgrading, and joint talent cultivation, clarifying the path for subsequent university-enterprise collaborative development.

At the meeting, the general manager of our company systematically introduced the company's development status to the research team: As China's first manufacturer of electric valve devices, after years of in-depth development, the company has grown into a leading enterprise in the segmented field of explosion-proof motors. Currently, it focuses on the R&D and application of special motors, deeply serves the national military-civilian integration strategy, and its products cover multiple key scenarios. Facing the trend of intelligent transformation in the manufacturing industry, the company is advancing the upgrade from "single product manufacturing" to "integrated solutions + services". In terms of core technological breakthroughs and service model innovation, it looks forward to leveraging the scientific research advantages of universities to solve development challenges.

Combined with the needs of on-site research, Professor Chen Xi's team from HUST shared their technological achievements and implementation experience in fields such as artificial intelligence, motor control, and digital maintenance, with a focus on proposing the concept of "maintenance as a profit center". Taking industry practice cases as the starting point, the team explained specific paths to optimize maintenance processes and reduce operating costs through digital technology, and suggested building a "fault database + knowledge management platform" based on the company's existing motor resources to transform after-sales service from a traditional "cost item" to a "profit growth point". Dr. Liang Shuangjun from Tomsk State University also provided reference suggestions for the two parties' technological R&D and overseas market expansion from the perspective of international technological collaboration.
Director Li Hua of the Zhenping People's Congress highly recognized this on-site research and exchange. She stated that as a key local enterprise, Nanyang Weite Explosion-Proof Motor's university-enterprise cooperation with HUST not only meets the company's transformation needs but also aligns with the direction of local industrial upgrading. She hoped that both parties would take this research as a basis to accelerate the implementation of cooperation projects and inject impetus into the high-quality development of the local economy.
Focusing on the core direction of university-enterprise cooperation, the two parties reached a number of consensuses:
♦ In technological R&D: They plan to jointly establish a laboratory, focus on conducting research in fields such as artificial intelligence, image recognition, and remote operation and maintenance of special motors, and develop customized solutions for pain points in different industries.
♦ In service upgrading: The company will optimize the after-sales service system, establish an efficient response mechanism for key customers, gradually launch value-added services, and promote the transformation of the service sector to the profit end.
♦ In talent cultivation: HUST will offer specialized courses on explosion-proof motors to cultivate compound technical talents in a targeted manner, and at the same time accept the company's technical backbones to participate in scientific research projects, realizing the collaboration of "industry-university-research-application".
In addition, the two parties also discussed resource integration and project promotion, clarifying that they will jointly apply for provincial and national-level scientific research projects and accelerate the industrialization of technology with the support of government resources. At the same time, they will explore international cooperation opportunities to promote the alignment of technology and services with overseas market demands. The general manager of the company stated that the technical concepts and practical experience of HUST have provided important support for the company's transformation, and he looks forward to achieving the "product + service" dual-drive through in-depth cooperation. Professor Chen Xi, on the other hand, emphasized that the two parties have complementary advantages and matching needs, and are expected to create a model of university-enterprise cooperation and jointly tap the development potential in the field of high-end equipment.
This on-site research and exchange meeting has laid a solid foundation for the university-enterprise cooperation between the two parties. In the next step, the two parties will establish a special working group, set up a regular docking mechanism, accelerate the implementation of key cooperation projects, continuously deepen technological collaboration, joint talent cultivation, and joint market expansion. They will work together to promote the upgrading of the motor industry towards high-end, intelligent, and service-oriented development, and contribute to the implementation of the national intelligent manufacturing and military-civilian integration strategies.
